Puno: Located at 3027m above sea level, on the shores of Lake Titicaca, cradle of Inca empire.
Lagunillas Lake: On the way from Puno to Arequipa we will stop at Lagunillas Lake, which is located 4200m above sea level. Lagunillas Lake where we will see a magnificent geography of the Lagoon surrounded by the mountains of the Andes. On this area there are birds like flamingos and ostrich, also camelids as alpacas, llamas and vicuñas.
Chivay: Considered as the most important village in the Colca valley, located at 3635m above sea level. Starting point to visit the Colca canyon. In Chivay there are Hotsprings, restaurants, hotels and much more.
Early morning a guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel to take you to Chivay. During the journey we will pass over the Peruvian high plateau, making stop at Lagunillas Lagoon where we will see a magnificent geography of the Lagoon surrounded by the mountains of the Andes. On this area there are birds like flamingos and ostrich, also camelids as alpacas, llamas and vicuñas. Then following the journey we will pass over 4528m, (the temperature begin to descend) making other stop at Restaurant Patahuasi to drink some hot drinks or go the bathroom. Then we continue with our trip passing near Tojra place where there are many vicuñas (south american camelids). Patapampa, known as the Look-out of volcanoes, located at 4910m above sea level, from here you make photos to the snow capped mountains, then descending up to 3635m, finally we arrive in Chivay village. Transfer to hotel.
