In Kasani is located the Migration offices of Peru & Bolivia.

What to Expect

On the way along the Peruvian highland until the border Desaguadero you will pass by many small villages as Chucuito, Acora, Ilave, Juli, Pomata and Zepita.

Also you will see a part of the lake titicaca and plantations of potatoe, quinoa, barley and mucho more. Perhaps also fishfarms (just trout)

IMPORTANT: See bellow the local villages located on the route side, the visit not included during the trip, which has an additional cost.

  • Chucuito (village where is located the fertility temple)
  • Acora (Chullpas or Tumbs of Molloco from inca time)
  • Ilave village (famous for its sunday typical markets)
  • Juli (very popular for its colonial churches, known as the little rome of America)
  • Pomata village (Philosophical balcony of the Altiplano or Highland)
  • Zepita (place where Peru gets its independence taking place the last battle of Chua Chua)

Day 1Transport Puno - Kasani (Border)

A driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel, then you will be driven from Puno-Peru passing the near local villages of the Peruvian highland, also on the shores of the lake Titicaca, a car trip of 3:00hrs. In Kasani is located The Migrations Office of Peru & Bolivia.
